Our Training Philosophy

FFD trainers use modern and humane training methods to create individualized training plans for each team we service. It has been proven time and time again that dogs (and all animals!) learn faster and more efficiently through positive-reinforcement/reward-based training.

While we know that reward-based training is the most effective way to train animals, it’s also rooted in kindness, compassion, and FUN! Whether we’re working on tricks, sporting foundations, basic manners, or challenging behavioral concerns, reward-based training is our method of choice.

Training sessions should be a bonding time between the dog and their guardian, so we try our best to make each and every session a big game where both parties can’t wait to see what’s next. We hope to continue to spread the word about positive-reinforcement by helping dogs and their guardians become happy and confident teams!
